Dance Auditions will take place at Next Level Fitness on: Sunday, December 6th (starting at 1PM) - Group audition where you will learn pre-choreographed numbers. (Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to sign in and stretch.)
Vocal Auditions will take place at Next Level Fitness on: Sunday, December 6th (starting at 3PM) - Please prepare a 2 to 4 minute song to perform in front of a panel. You may sing a'capella or use a backtrack (CD only) if you wish. (Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your you audition slot to sign in)

Happy New Year fans and followers! The 2009 Show Season is already upon us.
It seems like just yesterday we were on stage at Ballet Met performing the show SIX DEGREES. But alas, 2008 has come and gone - and our newest production is already under way.
Tomorrow (Sunday, January 4th) the SNAP! vocalists will be auditioning internally for the solo and ensemble numbers that will be performed in the 2009 Spring Show. While this may seem like the beginning to some, our vocalists have been hard at work learning music and preparing for these auditions for weeks.
SNAP! prides itself on rewarding the best singers and performers with key spots on our show - no matter how long they've been with the group. This ensures the highest quality show possible.
So get ready. May is just around the corner!

December 8, 2008 (Columbus, OH) - Our second (and final) round of auditions were held this past Sunday, and we have selected the final cast for our 2009 Spring Show! Special thanks to everyone who came out to audition, and congratulations to those applicants who were accepted.
Word of our fantastic group has been spreading throughout the community over the past few years - and it shows. Each year, more and more talented performers audition (which makes our casting process that much more difficult). In the end, this high level of talent helps SNAP! put on the best show in the central Ohio area.

Auditions this past Sunday (October 12,2008) went EXTREMELY well. We were pleased not only with the turnout, but also with the quality of performers who auditioned. Thanks to all the dancers and singers who came out and auditioned.
Because we had such a great group audition, we have decided to open auditions one last time before we officially kick off the 2009 SNAP!'s 2009 Show Season. If you missed our first audition, or did not know about it - this is your LAST CHANCE to join the group before we begin rehearsing.
Open auditions for both SINGERS and DANCERS will be held again on Sunday, December 7th in the afternoon.
Dancers - Please call 577-9888 or email SNAP! to check in prior to December 7th. Auditions begin at 1:00 PM in the main dance studio. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to sign in and stretch. Auditions will require you learn 2 - 3 short numbers (various genres) in a group setting. You will be judged on technique, style, and the ability to learn on the spot.
Vocalists - You must call 577-9888 or email SNAP! to reserve an audition spot (walk-ins will not be allowed). Please have a song prepared that best conveys your vocal strengths. You may sing any style your heart desires - as long as it's GREAT! You are allowed to use a back track (CD), or you can perform your piece a'capella. Songs should be between 1 and 3 minutes.

February 17 , 2008 (Columbus, OH) - Show times, location and ticket prices for the 2008 Spring Show have been set. SNAP! is proud to announce that this year's annual performance will be held at Ballet Met's new annex space, downtown at 336 N. 6th Street (map). This brand new 225-seat space will be our home for the following four performances:

December 8, 2007 (Columbus, OH) - It's official - preparations for the 2008 Spring Show have begun! With a new look, a new venue, a cohesive lineup, and a slew of talented new cast members, this year looks to be the most promising yet! Rehearsals will commence at the beginning of January and will run for a full 4 months prior to the show. Mark your calendars now - the first weekend in May is guaranteed to be the most entertaining AND philanthropic SNAP! event to date!
Currently, SNAP! is excited about providing funding and support to the children and families St. Vincent's Family Centers serves. SNAP! members are now scheduled to help with St. Vincent's upcoming Holiday Toy Drive.
